‘Massive’ national event to commemorate 80th anniversary of D-day| ITV News

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh attended the D-Day 80 Remembrance Service yesterday at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
Their Royal Highnesses joined Veteran James Miller for the wreath-laying at the Naval Service Memorial.

With 100 days to go before the big day, details have been released ahead of ‘massive’ national event to commemorate 80th anniversary of D-day. A series of events will take place across England and France on 6th June to commemorate the D-day landings, which changed the course of the Second World War.
